Honoring Military Medicine's Past to Improve Healthcare's Future
WARDOCS
What is a WarDoc?
WarDocs are personnel of all Services, ranks, and Corps dedicated to the medical care of fellow comrades in arms. They are affectionately called "Doc"—an earned sign of respect, trust, and confidence both on and off the battlefield

Our Mission
To improve military and civilian healthcare and foster patriotism by honoring the legacy, preserving the oral history, and showcasing career opportunities, experiences, and achievements of military medicine.
Our vision
We will capture the oral history and honor the legacy of military medicine.
Our purpose
Military medicine’s significant contributions towards improving healthcare deserve recognition and often get lost amongst shifting priorities and immediate challenges. WarDocs addresses this crucial need and makes it conveniently accessible to all by highlighting inspirational individual careers, lessons, and innovative individual and organizational leadership solutions that have driven progress across the entire healthcare spectrum. Increasing the understanding of military medical accomplishments in patient care, leadership, and research is essential for future generations to continually advance medical care for battlefield combatants and civilian patients.
